Nafasi Dance

Dance followed music. Initially performing at events, Nafasi started to collaborate with MUDA Africa, the leading contemporary dance school in Tanzania and created a practice place for dancers. MUDA organised its yearly festival at Nafasi, and over time other groups such as Haba na Haba came also to practice and perform. Via the dance members at Nafasi we had the pleasure to work with international chorographers such as Nora Chipaumire, Johannes Wieland and many more.

Over time it created many art interventions were the visuals artists, musicians and dancers collaborated for example in the ‘Cabinet of Curiosities,’ ‘Impose/expose; art revealing spaces’ and many more.
