Curator season 2017 and 2019In 2017 and 2019 I curated and managed Speisekino / Foot and Footage. Every Thursday from May until September, film curators and cooks come together at ZK/U Berlin. They combine independent movies, short films and documentaries with food fitting to the respective artistic themes, and as such respond to ZK/U’s discourses. Film directors will be present whenever possible. Sometimes the link between the two is more subtle, when for example the film is accompanied by a dish that also appears in the plot and other times we add artistic connectors from performances to related art video screening. We dine on the long tables on the terrace, with a view on Berlin’s Westhafen harbour.
